Halo VS Call Of Duty Which Is Better?

Halo VS Call Of Duty
Which is better?
I think Halo is better! I happen to be ranked the #1 Halo 4 player in Ohio <3 don't believe me? Look on HaloTracker :) I think Halo takes way more skill than cod and it's just a way better game overall. If it weren't for Halo there would be no xbox and no MLG. Halo was the very first game ever to be in MLG gaming. Halo 2 was the most sold original Xbox game selling over 8 million copies worldwide followed by Halo CE selling over 5 million copies worldwide. Halo 3 was the 3rd most sold Xbox 360 game selling 14.5 million copies worldwide. It actually sold more than COD Black OPs which sold 12 million copies worldwide. BTW Halo 4 was the 6th most sold xbox 360 game with 9.41 million copies sold :) But to be fair call of duty advanced warfare is the 4th most sold game of this year.
Halo is just a way more skilled game than cod. IT takes a lot more shots to kill somebody, you need to strafe, gandhi hop, etc. I think the reason people like cod better than halo is because they are just peasants who like to play unskilled based games.

Top 5 Reasons Halo is better COD
1. Halos campaign is a work of art. It tells an in depth story, it wraps the gamer in a rich and detailed universe and has deep and memorable experiences. Halo has differing encounters with enemies, large scale battles, and breathtaking environments. Halo allows the player to approach battles in different ways, and has unparalleled soundtracks and game experiences. The level of design and detail totally trumps anything CoD's linear and cliche experience delivers.Call of Duty’s single player experience is basically an on-rails cinematic experience with single-player gameplay that practically mimics the multiplayer, save the enemy AI are basically talking cardboard cutouts. There are those now ubiquitous “Michael Bay” moments where players “ooh” and “aah” but have no control over what happens. If your looking to see a crappy movie I might recommend CoD, if your looking to play a video game Halo is the clear winner.2. In Halo you play as a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier with a hot AI sidekick named Cortana. In CoD you play as a generic miltary trooper.......Think about that for a second. The homeless dude that lives in the alley behind Denny's could of been a military trooper, your Dad could have been a military trooper, Hitler was once a military trooper, do you want to be like -Yoinking!- Hitler? No, you dont want to be like Hitler. You want to be Masterchief because you cant be him and hes the ultimate Hero.(Well most of us anyways.... dont want to offend anyone who thinks they are).3. Halo has warthogs/golden warthogs(Yeah thsts right its a secret), banshees, mongooses, wraiths, tanks, ghosts, ect with high functionality and different functions(ie: Transport, splattering, turrets, shooting, flying, warthog derby, betraying teammates, ect...) that the player controls completely. These vehicles have more uses in the game than just slaying but also objective and transport. Lastly, they are balanced and treated like power weapons on long timers making it so they ADD to the gameplay but not ECLIPSE the gameplay something that would happen if they were not.CoD doesnt have vehicles, but lame gimmicky attempts at vehicles like exploding cars and flying helicopters that you cant control. What is the point of having a helicopter in the game if I cant control it? It insults my intelligence that you do not see me as fit to drive the helicopter but would rather drive it for me on a set course so I can focus on spraying and praying for 45 seconds in this Death Star you call a helicopter. Again this all speaks to trying to create a cinematic experience even in MULTIPLAYER, this is not good gameplay but good screenplay.4. Halo is balanced for competitve gameplay. The weapons, the maps, the ranking system, the equipment/AA's are all designed to work well in a competitve environment. Every weapon has a different functionality or use giving the game great weapon variety and depth. The maps vary from Blood Gulch,to Beaver Creek, to Prisoner to suit 1v1/2v2,4v4,and 8v8 matches. The weapons/power-ups/equipment/AA's are tailored to the map to suit different playstyles and strategies making each map its own unique experience. You can go from MLG 4v4 on Sactuary,to 2v2 on Countdown, to 8v8 on Hemmorage simply by changing playlists catering to every players wants and needs. Every new game is a different experience in Halo due to this layout as well because you are constantly adapting on the go and you are guaranteed that sniper rifle or certain playstyle you are accustomed due to the Sandbox nature of the game.CoD is horribly balanced for competitve gameplay. Overpowered guns with no recoil, snap to the enemy ADS, no disadvantages , almost instantaneous kill times on any part of the body*(couple bullets anywhere), gimmicky perks that unbalance gameplay, and worst of all unlockable weapons and killstreaks which give experienced players the upperhand not because of their skill but their playtime and how well they can camp and statwhore their way to victory. This is the equivalent of giving one player a gun while the other one gets a knife simply because of the time he spends on the game, this is the worst gamer design I have ever seen in my life. CoD spits at the idea of needing to have a fundamentally sound and balanced FPS to be sucessful and has influenced other games to be made like it. The most recent example of how Crysis and BF have succumbed to the "CoD effect" in throwing perks and killstreaks in their games. Crysis was practically ruined by doing this and I know the BF fans were not too happy with perks.5. Halo has regenerating shields and more health allowing for in depth battles and exponentially more variety in encounters. Halo battles are about outsmarting and outperforming your opponent using your weapons, grenades, melee, and sometimes your equipment/AA to defeat your enemies. Its not all about who sees who first, because while that certainly is a large factor as in any FPS game there is a ton more decision making and skill that goes into a Halo match than any CoD match. TThe aspect of teammwork also shines in Halo. Players must teammshot effectively, they must hold map control, they control power weapons/power-ups, they employ set-ups depending on current game situation, they read and react to ever-changing situations on the fly, they must learn to play all roles, they must have map knowledge and positioning skills, they can manipulate the spawn system, ect... Halo shines in a team setting and has much more aspects to teammwork that make it a great game to play with friends and on a competitve level. You ever wonder why Halo is so fun to LAN? Its the team aspect of the game that is so fun.Halo offers a deep, unique, and insanely fun and balanced multiplayer experience built on good game fundamentals and gameplay. In CoD people die as soon as you see them. There is little skill or depth in gunfights beyond placing your reticle on your opponent first severely limiting the variety in gameplay. CoD's gameplay is redundent and repetitive, everyone is running around with overpowered assault rifles and its just a game of who sees who first. Despite having like 60 weapons only a couple of the better ones are used and 95 percent of the players choose the automatic weapons anyways because they have no weakness.

Who was Bobby Fischer?

On October 17, 1956, people called it “The Game of the Century”, others called it just the greatest game ever played.

On that day, 13-year-old Bobby Fischer’s legacy started after defeating Donald Byrne, one of the greatest chess players of the 1950’s. His statement after winning such an amazing game?
“I just made the moves I thought were best. I was just lucky.”

Bobby Fischer pondering moves
Bobby Fischer was ranked the number one chess player by the FIDE (World Chess Federation) for almost six years in a row, winning just about every championship he went into following up to that title. He was the youngest grandmaster at chess, at only the age of fifteen. Then at the age of twenty, he got the first perfect score ever seen at the U.S. championship.

He was considered the best chess player of his time, and can be argued the the best ever to play.

Well, most people considered this, but this was the time of the Cold War, and so tensions were very high with the Soviet Union, and they had to step up to the United States’ world champion. Spassky and Fischer met as delegates from their respective countries in Iceland to play for the title of world champion.

The games were intense, Spassky starting with a lead on the first two games, when Fischer forfeited the second because he did not agree to all the cameras that were on the table. People wanted to watch from all over the world. After the twenty one games that were played, Spassky won 3 games, Fischer had one 7, and there were 11 draws.

The chess championship between the tense countries sparked a large interest in chess in other countries, but after the intense face-off of the two cold war countries, Bobby Fischer’s chess career slowed down. Fischer and Spassky remained friends, and after an unofficial match between the two, Fischer had a dispute with the U.S. government concerning taxes on the match winnings. After this, Fischer left the States, moved a lot of places, but eventually stayed in Iceland, basically becoming an anti-american, writing plenty and said of anti-american statements to the public over the radio.

The only notable thing he did after he had left the United States was that he patented a way of timing turns of chess, to keep a time restriction. This way of turn timing is used in tournaments today. He also made up a new way of playing chess, called Chess960, which isn’t widely played, but is still known today.

Fallout: New Vegas Overview and DLC

Fallout: New Vegas is a game in part of the Fallout series. It is a role-playing game that was developed by Obsidean Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game takes place in the year 2281, 204 years after the Great War that turned America into a wasteland. In the game you are the Courier, who was on his way to deliver a package from Primm to New Vegas where you were intercepted by a gang and shot. A robot victor dug you up and that's where the game starts. There are many abominations(creatures) that you can run into in the Mojave Desert, where New Vegas takes place. The hardest being deathclaws. Deathclaws do a lot of damage and are very tough to
kill. There are many factions in New Vegas, the major ones are
the NCR(New California Republic), Caesar's Legion, Robert House, and Yes Man. There are many main quests you can do and many side quests. The game takes a lot of time to finish especially if you want to do all quests. There is also hardcore mode that makes it very realistic to where you can get dehydrated, you have to also sleep and eat or else you'll die.

Fallout: New Vegas DLC
Honest Hearts
In the Honest Hearts DLC you go to Zion Canyon with a small faction the Happy Trails Caravan when you get intercepted by a tribe the White Legs and they kill everybody but you, if you survive, and then Follows-Chalk takes you to his home. After you will do some quests then in the end of the DLC you fight the White Legs and Caesar's Legion.

Dead Money
In the Dead Money DLC you, the courier, gets sent to the Sierra Madre casino by following a radio broadcast that leads you there. The Sierra Madre, located in the city of the dead. It's grand opening never happened because the bombs had fallen, freezing the city in time. Your goal is to get a team together and get into the casino. It is very difficult and takes a lot of time and patience to complete. It is by far my favorite DLC in any game that I have played.

Old World Blues
Old World Blues the name explains itself. In this DLC you get sent to Big Mt. where before the war is where the greatest scientists lived and experimented and made things. A group of those scientists had put their brains in computers and when you get sent there they took your brain. Dr. Mobious had stole your brain and you go off wandering around Big Mt. fighting off lobotomites, robo-scorpians and more. When you finally get your brain back you either decide to kill the group of scientists or convince them to not experiment in the wasteland.

Lonesome Road
The Lonesome road, the 4th and final DLC in Fallout: New Vegas. In this DLC you travel into the Divide. Where you spend your travels finding Courier six, Ulysses. The walk on the road in the Divide is a long and treacherous one, you facing the elements of the Divide, from deathclaws to the Marked Men. The long walk on the road ends when you find Ulysses before he's about to launch a nuclear warhead into the wasteland. You can convince him to partner up with you as you kill Marked Men who try to attack. In the end you can chooses to disarm the missles, launch at the NCR, launch at Caesar's Legion, or at both. The Lonesome Road is by far one of the greatest DLCs of all time in my book.

Has anybody played New Vegas or any other game in the Fallout series? If so what was your favorite part/thing?

Treyarch Games

Treyarch has been a gaming studio since 1996 and have made many games in their history like the Black Ops Series in Call of Duty, Modern warfare and Call of Duty Ghosts in which they also worked with many other developers. They also made many of the early Call of Duty games like cod 2 and cod 3 then Call of Duty World at War and many more other than the Call of Duty games. Treyarch is also the inventor of Zombies in the Call of Duty series in Call of Duty World at War.

Treyarch has grown in the past years and has set many gaming records like most sales on the launch day with Black Ops II. The anticipation for Black Ops III is definitely growing especially now after the beta was released so people could get some early access to see what the new features are. On the 25th of this month Treyarch announced that the old gen consoles would not have a Campaign and paint shop capabilities, because of this the old gen price is lowered.

Now that you know that the old gen consoles will have less content and less price would you still buy it?

Leave what you think in the comments.

Mobile gaming is the best way of gaming. It is better than Xbox and play station because you can play it anywhere. You can play it at school,in the car. Some games require internet but WiFi is all over and there is some games you can play without internet.Where as for Xbox and play station have to be hooked up to a TV.

Image result for mobile games
There is millions of games out there for mobile gaming and a lot of them are free and so is playing with your friends. Where as Xbox and play station all games and playing online cost money. The best thing about mobile gaming is we all can play it as long as you have a phone which almost everybody does. All you do is go to the app store and look up the game you want and download it.   Games keep coming out for phones and they are always pretty exciting  and the games cover every category sports, action, story and arcade. Even if the game cost money most of the it is only a dollar.

People who are playing Xbox or PlayStation or even PC spend most of the time inside their house. I'm not saying mobile gaming is much better but you can go outside and play with your friends and still have millions of game in your pocket.
Some pros of Xbox are that you play on a bigger screen and there games can be a little better sometimes but mobile gaming in the end is still the most popular and will be for a long time. This is just my opinion I would like to know what you guys think is mobile gaming the best type of gaming or do you believe something else is.
